Megan Cohen and Monica Chew met under the auspices of Really Spicy Opera's Aria Institute, 2022 mezzo-soprano online edition. Soprano and producer Cristina Gallo commissioned and produced this project, to be premiered along with 3 other new song cycles, as part of her Siren Songs project.
